It’s so much fun running digital media workshops with engaged and motivated participants. Their creativity and their ability to plan, problem solve and strive for more amazes me. Another great opportunity to give everyone the “Chance To Shine.”
Our community centre Cohuna Neighbourhood House has hosted 5 Stop Motion Workshops facilitated by Elaine Keely as a part of our School Holiday Program.
The Stop Motion Workshop is a great mix both the digital and tactile environments for children to use their imagination and create something very unique to share digitally. Throughout the workshop the children were captivated with Elaines knowledge and enthusiasm, it certainly rubbed off on the children with many smiling faces filling the room. It was wonderful to see both workshops booked out. Thank you Elaine!

The Animation Workshop was very calming and fun. I learnt how to make ‘stop motion characters’ and I learnt how to make a short movie. I loved when Elaine taught us, she was so kind.

My son, Master 10, did a two day animation workshop during the school holidays. He really enjoyed it. He has made stop motions before at school and at home, so it was nice for him to build on those skills. Elaine was, as always, kind, patient, and full of knowledge. My son enjoyed making the clay models and the process of making them move and putting together the movie. A great school holiday activity.

Elaine was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was able to explain the process in a simple way. The session was timed well and all children were able to complete a stop motion animation. Elaine has inspired my children to continue making animations.

This is our second workshop with Elaine and my daughter describes them as fun and awesome!! As a parent, Elaine has the kindest nature towards our children and has the most extraordinary imagination. We cannot wait for another workshop and are truly grateful to have this opportunity in our town of Cohuna.
