Stop Motion is a motivating and engaging medium which can be used across the curriculum. From literacy, maths, science, physical education, the Arts, the possibilities are endless!
It can:
– promote planning, collaboration, teamwork, organisational skills and techniques.
– cater for different levels of abilities and skill sets.
– develop team work and yet allow for those with additional needs to work individually or own set pace.
– be used as a great storytelling & evaluation tool.

Professional Learning & Workshops
Professional Learning for teachers is available in Stop Motion Animation. This covers the basics in photography, storyboarding and basic stop motion animation techniques to allow teachers to incorporate this medium into their classrooms. A wonderful learning and up skilling experience for individual or school clusters.
Animation materials and resources supplied.
(iPads, iMotion, i MovieApps & Garageband Apps required)

Student & Community Workshops
Workshops for participants from Foundation to Yr 6 level are available.
Workshops cover: basic photography, storyboarding, Stop Motion techniques and skills.
Students/Participants may work work with different mediums: wire armatures, paper cutouts, polymer clay figures, simple jointed puppet animation, life object animation.
Work levelled for students’ ages and abilities.
Curriculum, units or themes easily incorporated.
(Class teachers to be present for all sessions.)
Animation materials and resources supplied.
(iPads, iMotion & iMovie, Garageband Apps required.)
Workshops can be planned and structured to suit the specific needs and goals of individual schools & communities.
