Digital Media (Green Screen/Film/Digital Stories)

The use of digital media is a powerful tool within the classroom. It can be used throughout all areas of the curriculum, to engage and evaluate. It promotes life skills of planning, organisation, problem solving and team work. It caters for groups and individuals and can be adapted for all levels of abilities.

Film: an engaging medium, learning the skills of distance, angles and shots to enhance a story or presentation. The importance of lighting and sound is explored and implemented to create a project to be proud of.

Green Screen: a wonderful tool and technique which is simple and effective to use for: music video clips, storytelling, reports and interviews, short films, animation and presentations.

Digital Storytelling: a most powerful storytelling tool, incorporating the use of digital imagery, photography and narration to portray strong themes and messages.

Professional Learning & Workshops
Professional Learning for teachers is available in the areas of Green Screen/Film/Digital Storytelling. This covers the basics in how to teach the skills necessary for each medium and how to plan and execute a class project.
A wonderful learning and up skilling experience for individual or school clusters.
(iPads/Macs recommended.)

Student Workshops
Workshops for students from Foundation to Yr 6 level are available.
Work levelled for students’ ages and abilities.
Curriculum, units or themes easily incorporated.

Cost: Full day x ($180 per hour)

Consulting Contract and Agreement (negotiated terms and conditions between parties.)
