Welcome to E.K. Productions, based in rural Victoria, focused on discovering, developing and nurturing creative talent through music, theatre and digital media.
I’m Elaine Keely, a primary teacher, with over 39 years experience in education, specialising in Performing Arts and Digital Media for 0ver 27 years, and with a love for music, theatre and Stop Motion Animation. My absolute passion is discovering students’ gifts and talents and allowing them to shine.
Musical Productions:
As an experienced performing arts specialist and having staged countless productions, concerts and performances, I’m well aware of the time and effort required in staging a musical. My plays have been written, not just for the enjoyable and comical storylines, great characters and catchy music, but also keeping in mind, easily obtained costumes and simple props. The results are fantastic musical productions which can be staged on a very low budget.
I’ve written 7 primary school productions with loads of themes, great characters and catchy songs.
My shows have been performed throughout Victoria and New South Wales, in schools of all sizes with great success, with many schools coming back for more.
The musicals are suitable for primary level and are most adaptable, from a single grade to entire school involvement. The productions cover many of the key elements of the Victorian Arts and NSW Creative Arts Curriculum.
All plays are available for hire and very adaptable for community theatre.
Assistance In Staging A Production
If you would love your students to have the extraordinary experience of staging a performance but feel that your school may lack the confidence or expertise to organise such an event, I’m able to assist in professional development in staging a show. I’m available to work as part of your production team to up skill your staff and students on the process of staging a production, from start to finish. From scripts and auditions, rehearsals, singing and choreography, costumes and props to staging the production itself.
Stop Motion & Digital Media (Green Screen/Music Videos/Digital Stories/ Short Films)
Along side music, theatre and productions, I have a love for using digital media within The Arts and the entire curriculum.
Stop Motion:
I revel in improving my own skills in Stop Motion and I’m a great believer in the benefit of this medium in the classroom and across the curriculum.
From story telling, demonstrating understanding of subject matter, to the fundamental life skills of planning, organisation and team work, this digital platform is gold.
It is a wonderfully engaging, creative and inexpensive medium for students to explore their gifts and talents and a wonderful tool for evaluating understanding and knowledge of content and concepts.
I’m able to run professional learning for teachers on the fundamentals of Stop Motion, which covers the basics of photography, storyboarding and the apps iMotion, iMovie and Garageband.
I’m also able to run workshops from Foundation to Yr 6, for schools and community holiday programs, covering the skills and techniques they will need to animate using Stop Motion and create a short project to demonstrate their new found talent.

Green Screen/ Film/Digital Storytelling
Many classroom teachers have expressed a lack of confidence in using film or Green Screen as engaging tools within their classrooms. I can deliver professional learning sessions and workshops demonstrating how easy it is incorporate digital media into classrooms, while providing teachers with the skills needed for each medium. From music video clips, interviews, news & weather reports, digital stories, short films, the possibilities are endless.
I’m also able to run workshops from Foundation to Yr 6 and community holiday programs, covering the techniques and skills they will need to use these digital mediums.
